What drew you to DDR in the first place?: The huge crowds. I loved playing DDR at the arcade and seeing crowds form whenever people freestyled. I admit it--I loved the attention, and I still do, although now the attention is mostly now in web format. =P

What is your favorite DDR song?: AM-3P. Would you expect anything less?

What is your favorite bemani song?: AM-3P

What Bemani/Other Music Games do you play outside of DDR?: I used to play some KBM and IIDX.

Favorite bemani/other music game: DDR

What is your favorite aspect about DDR?: The combination of music and physical activity makes DDR original and fun.

What helps you keep your sanity while running the site?: The support of everyone on staff. Even though we may not agree all the time, it is great having the opinions of people you trust to run the site.

Did you really think DDR Freak was going to make it this big?: I never really thought it would make it this big, but it has been a goal of mine at least since December 2000, when I made the decision to go national. It has really exceeded all my expectations, although that only serves to make my future expectations even higher.

What's your favorite memory of DDRFreak so far?: I have so many memories, it's hard to pick just one! If I were to pick, it probably would be the first staff meeting in Las Vegas. I had a lot of fun meeting everyone, and it was fun seeing our groupies as well (free donuts/coffee anyone?). =p

What do you think the future of DDR and the rest of the Bemani series holds?: DDR, Bemani, and dancing games in general have an exciting future. There is more competition coming from companies other than Konami, and I can only see it as a good thing.

What do you enjoy doing outside of DDR?: Cooking is fun. Eating is too. =)

Favorite movie, food, and book: I don't really have a favorite movie, but my favorite food is definitely seared foie gras *droool*. The last book I read and really enjoyed was Ender's Game. I'm not much of a reader though.

What do you do for a living? Do you enjoy it?: I am a Software Engineer at HP. It's okay, but my real passion is at DDR Freak.

Do you travel often? If so where is your favorite place to visit?: I am going to Chicago to visit some friends tomorrow. =) I don't have a single favorite place to visit--I like to travel to places I've never been before.

Any New Year's Resolutions?: Never.

Three things you like about yourself?: My charm, good looks, and wit. Just kidding. I'd like to think I'm generally happy, fun, and goofy at times. =p

Three things you hate about yourself?: My temper can be pretty bad sometimes, as some people have seen. I can be stubborn as well. I know you asked for three, but I generally like myself. My ego can be a bit inflated at times. There, now you got three.

What's the most important lesson you've learned in life?: I'm still learning.

What are you wearing RIGHT NOW?: Whitish pants and a green linen button down shirt.

If you were an animal, what would you be and why?: A dog might be nice, but only if I were the alpha male, so I can be the leader.

Describe your perfect mate: Cute, sweet, funny, happy, willing to tolerate my faults.

Any tattoos? Piercings? Any planned?: Haha... no.

Tell the world an embarassing drinking story: One of the first times I went to a frat party, freshman year, I got drunk and started dancing by myself, with a glass of alcohol in one hand.

If you won one hundred million dollars, what would be the FIRST thing you would buy without batting an eye?: I'm too practical to give an interesting answer here. I'd buy a nice house.

If you had three wishes what would they be? (no wishing for more wishes!):Happiness, wakefulness (I'm so sleepy right now), and the ability to stop time.

Favorite quote?: I don't have one, although I probably should.

Final thoughts?: I can't believe I won! I have always been at the bottom of the pack in the past. =p
