I just stumbled on to this today (and I can't find any threads about this), but has anyone heard of a game called SingStar? It's a European PS2 karaoke game from Sony. Apparently, it came out a couple of months ago. It has quite a few interesting features:

* Instead of animated characters (a la Karaoke Revolution), it plays the actual music videos in the background with the pitches displayed on top of the video and the lyrics at the bottom of the screen.
* It comes bundled with two microphones and allows players to sing together.
* It optionally supports the EyeToy. You watch yourself singing and when you hit certain notes, it records you. Then, at the end of the song, it replays the video and then puts in the footage back into the video.
* It also has some sort of career mode that seems a bit more interesting than Karaoke Revolution's simple "unlocking venues" career mode.

I've heard of it. My cousin in the UK has it from what i've heard it has a nice selection of songs everything from Mis-teeq to the Village people.
