I just bought a BNS DX Xtreme to play Stepmania with a pad.. I plugged it into the port but I can't use it in Stepmania.. is that a driver or anything else that I need to do first before I can use it?

Thanks.

Can somebody please help me? I'm getting really frustrated since I just paid $70 for something that I can't get to work. Most guides assume that you're using a USB port. Some guys say that a window will pop up saying that Windows has detected a new device, mine doesn't. Some tell me to download DirectPad. I did (5.0, the link to 6.0 is broken) and it still doesn't work. Something told me to download a PS Joypad thing and I did, and still nothing. Some tell me to go to Control Panel and set up a new game controller thing and Windows won't let me do that either (complains about drivers).

BTW I use Windows XP.

DirectPadPro is what you need, I believe.
