I'm curious to know who here has a Cobalt Flux and uses it on Stepmania. I have heard from both sides that either the pad works or it doesn't.
Does anybody here have a CF and has it working perfectly on Stepmania?
If so,
Can you answer these questions for me if it works:
1.) What USB adapter or parallel Adapter are you using and how well does it work. Is the timing exact or not
2.) If using a USB adapterare you running USB 1.1 or 2.0?
Thanks in advance. I really want to buy a Cobalt flux, im just leary if it will work with Stepmania or not.
Thanks in advance |

hey, just playing...if you had been around here before, you'd know that people ask adapter related questions all the time in the wrong place...gets kind of annoying when you're working on an FAQ and people have information being put up in 5 different threads. this will probably get locked anyway, but welcome to the boards. please read the stickys and the forum FAQ before you post :0) |

I'll be able to tell you........WHENEVER THE HELL THEY SHIP MY DAMN PADS
I ordered 'em about a month ago...two weeks then they tell me they don't accept my credit card...so I order again with Paypal like a week ago. My money's missing and it's not in my Paypal account and I've received no confirmation that Cobalt Flux has gotten it. If I don't end up with 2 Cobalt Fluxes by September I'm gonna be pretty freakin' pissed.
On a side note, I did also order 1 SmartJoy PLUS. We'll see how that baby works. _________________

Yes and yes.

I have a BNS parallel port adapter (came with my BNS XTreme way back when I bought it). It works quite well. If the timing's off, it's very little, and it's most likely me not being used to having as precise a pad as a CF.

I ordered a SmartJoy PLUS, but it hasn't arrived yet, so I couldn't answer this question at the moment. _________________
