I see in the toy aisles, next to the Transformers (at Wal-Mart), is a variety of new toys for the Bratz dolls line, including a DDR-type TV-plugin game. I've seen items like this before, but for me, it really stands out since A, the pad really looks like a third-party DDR pad, and B, it's lined with false FUR. Goes with the rest of the line, I guess, but a fur-lined dance pad seems just silly. The song list seems to be mostly familiar girlpop... Cute, but nothing I'd be interested in other than unacted upon curiousity. _________________

Dude, plz don't tell me you were going to buy that game, or even thinking about it Yar. Just by the name label "Bratz" sounds like a game that screams "HEY LOOK AT ME, DON'T BUY ME, I'M WORTHLESS!" If I had a sister and she came home with that game, I would most certainly burn it and it's furry little dance pad.
If you're looking for an extreme dancing game, I suggest visiting your local arcade and playing Spider Stompin'. Now that's a real dancing game that requires skill and determination. |

OK, yeah, on second glance, it does not actually have pink fur... it is very pink, though. And no, I'm sticking with the US DDR titles myself... A lot of those plug-in TV DDR clones, I really have to wonder how well the pad holds up, because once you get a tear or a fold, the whole GAME is shot... (The question, unspoken until now [well, it's being typed, anyway] - does the marketing of "dance" games to the young female demographic make sense? The way DDR itself is set up seems to be to appeal to both genders equally... I'm assuming none of these other games has a Drop Out or a Maxx Unlimited, or even a Dynamite Rave, difficulty wise...) _________________
