The topic has been discussed many a time before. I will give you the basics and then you can Search for a thread about it.

This hasn't been very successful unless, you own your own machine or are planning to buy one and use it without profit. The songs on Stepmania are illegal to be made money with because usually the people who are using the songs don't have the rights to do so. Therefore, arcades aren't allowed to use these types of machines to make money.
