okay, i just started using Stepmania yesterday and i can't get any songs to show up on the song select screen, even though there is an MP3 in the songs folder. help??

Does it have a dwi file in the folder? You must have one in the same folder as the mp3 for it to appear.

Do you have the folder structure deep enough?

It needs to be StepMania/Music/Mix_Name/Song_Name/

where Mix_Name is the name of the in-game folder you want it in, Song_Name is, well duh... and your .mp3, .dwi, and background pictures all go in that folder.
