Looking for help with Stepmania crashing with my the BNS pad

Since my technical knowledge is terrible, i put together a little pictorial so maybe it will be simpler for someone who would like to help me =)

Basically, whenever I try to configure the keys for Stepmania for my BNS dx pad, i get this: www.satnaspyj.com/~blendon/stepwtf.jpg and the game crashes on me.
Here are some of the configurations I have set up, and I am wondering what I am doing wrong (and I have DirectpadPro all set up, do the .dlls have to go in a certain folder?)
