New to simulators...

I am new to the ddr simulators. I had recently downloaded the updated Stepmania, SMMAX i believe it is.

I have a few questions that may have already been answered in larger, stickied threads:

-I download banners for a certain mix, how to I apply it?

-For PS<->USB adaptors, which is best that is in USA? (Isn't shipping to HK higher? If not, i suppose I can look through the PS/USB thread for one of the reccomended adaptors.)

-Where do I download DWI, SSR(?), DDRPC ?

-Adaptors work with metal pads, right?
