What's the most ridiculous thing you've ever managed to get on Random/Roulette?

I've managed to get Destiny Lovers on Roulette... 2 stages in a row. ("Bad Roulette! Bad!") Then there's Rain of Sorrow 1.5x Heavy Hidden Reverse on MAX2JP's Random Oni. I used autofail (hold Start) within seconds.

I have yet to try the Random Nonstop or Random song in Extreme, so I don't have anything funny from that.

I was thinking about playing CSFIL(SP), but i chose roulette, got random and then got CSFIL(SP)...

I've gotten Rain of Sorrow two times in a row due to roulette. I also always seem to get songs I hate when I use Random while having it set for Challenge steps.

Since when did people still use roulette? What's the point of roulette? Why not just use the "random" selector?

Ruolette gives you a better chance of controlling what you get.

Random is *completely* random. With roulette you can still at least choose what genre the song is from, sometimes it's fun to just aim for on song you want to play and see what crap you get instead

I normally know what I want to play, I just hit roulette when I'm bored for a laugh. Also on random it takes you to the options menu straight away, you don't see the name or BPM or step difficulty or anything so you might end up with some really dumb mod combos.

In a tourney, B2U, B2U OG, and B2U KOG G3 were all randomed like almost in a row. That tourney also had It's Raining Men, Little Boy, and Be In My Paradise twice.

Getting the hardest song last is bad, unless you can't pass the hardest song.

One time I played Random All and got exotic ethnic first. If I had gotten it anything other than first, I wouldn't have FC'd it. If I had gotten it last, I may not have even passed it.

I watched the following happen:
Someone did random all heavy. Got PSM in the middle. Died (in the way end, after the part mirrored from PS).
Next person did random all standard. Got PSM as the first song. Passed with help from someone else.
Is this a bug, where if you fail on a song in random all it gives you the song again?

Roullete isn't very random. You usually choose the same 2 of 3 songs if you aim at a certain genre.

My friend Laif did a roulette for a mini-exhibition I was doing at our local arcade. He got my best song for me on roulette (matsuri japan) then another person he did roulette for (travis) he got his best song (let the beat hit em').

That was some pretty weird stuff.

Then my other friend Brian (Flash) got Maxx on roulette 3 times in a row.

we had a tournament down here. and the way we should chose the song was by "Random" and i swear "love shine" came up at least 10 times during the tournament

A couple of weeks after I had started playing, I was at home with some buds playing MAX USA. I picked Roulette, and walked off the pad a second to grab my water bottle. One of my friends hit X, and I get back on the pad to see it stop on MAX300

I thought I was gonna die (even on light)

So I'm in the final round of a PA tournament. We did the first song standard random, and i was down by 3 perfects. Then he hits random for heavy and im like "please not breakdown!!"

And it's breakdown. Goddamn mind reading machine

Made me lose by 100 perfects. I'm bad at that song to begin with..but i was so tired i actually failed it >_<

I love random standard nonstops!

Was doing one the other day, 1.5 reverse boost shuffle hidden dark (I'm insane, just smile and pass by), and the first few songs were fine, albeit stuff I hadn't played often - that being the point of random anyway - but then the last song comes up: Legend of Max. At 1.5 boost? Um, yeah... And who woulda known that Kakumei standard is so...interesting?

Then there's the random ex stage. Let's see, Dynamite Rave wasn't that bad, Sweet Sweet Love Magic was, but nowhere near as bad as Bag. And then there's getting Baby Baby Gimme Your Love and Let the Beat Hit Em while trying to impress people. That always sucks. =P
