I hope no one's spending money to keep this server running or keep this domain. Heck, the server's not running very much at all.

I'm probably stating the obvious, but the closing of this place is probably long overdue. The top forums have been overrun by spam. The front page hardly remains relevant to modern DDR news. New posts by actual members are virtually nonexistent. Not surprising since it takes five refreshes just for a post to go through.

I had a ton of fun and good times back in 2005-6, but DDRFreak now isn't even a fraction of what it was then. DDRFreak is just gone. Unless someone cares to overhaul the site and inject some life into it, I'd say it's time to just shut down. The community's doing just fine with bemanistyle and zenius-i-vanisher.

Hell, ITGFreak was much more active than this when bacon decided to close it up.

Nobody mods the damn place - Hence the spam everywhere.

Do something, or just shut the place down for good.

It took me 30 minutes to post this one thing, so I hope it was worth it...

DDR Freak has a huge history of valuable information locked in these forums. Rather than see the site completely removed, I would love to somehow see it setup like an archive to be used as a reference. I realize that if no one is around to maintenance the site, that this might be impractical. But, if someone COULD do this, I think it would be a fantastic way to preserve a good amount of information, knowledge, and history of the DDR scene in the United States.

This board used to be active in my days. I think the StepmaniaOnline board is more lively than this board. Hell.. Bemanistyle is still alive.
