I've been looking for a metal DDR platform for a while as I go through the plastic self-modded ones faster than Gerbils go through exercise wheels.. however $400 is like, the price of Rent. With very little effort, I found someone who was selling two of them on Craigslist, 35 bucks for the pair.

They're two slightly used Blade XPGs, seem to work fine (although I have to get used to them; not exactly the same as arcade but way closer than anything I've ever tried to mod onto plywood)

Anyway, just thought I'd share my success story. Might turn out selling one of them (since I don't really need two) at some point, if you live in Portland I'll be putting up a flyer perhaps near Ground Kontrol.
