I built my own pad using the resources and guides from this forum. I did not secure my "arrow" panels due to somewhat expensive price of the corner brackets and thus they move like crazy when playing. Is there any alternative to using corner brackets? Can I just screw the arrow panel to the base?

I was looking at Devoult's Stealth pad design and was wondering how his arrow panels are kept in place.

My pad is basically the arrow panel and bottom panel glued with aluminum foil as the two contacts, seperated by cereal box paper.

Just for future reference, if screwing the arrow panels to the base means what I think it means, the arrow panels won't be able to move up and down, which means they won't be able to make contact with the sensors.

Well, what i had in mind was actually making a hole that's bigger than the screw thread for the arrow panel but not for the bottom panel. Then putting the screw only deep enough to hold the top panel down. Maybe that way the panel can move up and down?

That actually sounds like it might work. Give it a try!

yeah, use a bit bigger than plex, but also be very careful when drilling!
the plex is easy to break

also, you might want to look into getting some sort of tubing to cover the threads of the screw so it doesnt rub against the holes in the plex which will cause it to get stuck and/or crack
