If anyone is familiar with this pad, then you should know that it isn't that great. It has been satisfactory for a long time, but i recently tripped over the cord to the control box, causing the wires to pop out. I pushed them back in, and when that didn't work i cracked open the box and saw that it had the wires hot-glued to the circuit board. I'm no expert with circuitry as it is, so if anyone has any advice, that would be great.

I will post pictures as soon as i possibly can.

First, OUCH ... I trip over things all the time, usually stuff involving a cord and ending up needing something fixed or replaced.

From what you describe as what the inside looks like, sounds to me like you need to just get yourself a new control box. Especially, since like me, you're not an expert at circuitry.
