A couple questions.

Hi, I have a couple of questions. I found a metal DDR pad on my local craigslist thing and the person is selling it for $20. From the pictures, it looks pretty cracked, but the listing says it works fine. Anyway, here are my questions:

1. Should I just order new replacement arrows, or make my own with heavier duty plastic from a place like Lowe's?

2. Should I sheet metal mod it? It looks like a MyMyBox SoloMode pad, which I'm pretty sure uses a foil on copper sensor system which I know will die after a while.

play on it until it breaks, then mod the hell out of it:

replace the plex arrows, do the sheet metal mod, the works


and if the metal pad is $20, for sure get it!
(one of my friends got one for about 50 and it was about the same condition)
