Deluxe v2.5 foam pad problems

I jes received two Deluxe v2.5 foam pads for christmas and already I am having problems such as unresponsive arrows or even once in awhile an arrow will decide that I'm on it even if I'm nowhere near it; most commonly the most recent event will happen on the song screen it will jes scroll through the songs on its on forever. Anybody have an idea to what I might try to fix these problems or do the pads jes need to have time to get broken in? Any help is appreciated thank you.

I'm guessing from no replies that means that there's no way to fix the problem or ya'll don't know it if there is. If there is a way to fix this then I would really like to know. If it's not a problem and they need time to get broken in then just tell me. Thank you.

The sensors are ghosting; meaning that they are triggering when they shouldn't be. This is a hard problem to fix on foam pads. I'd recommend simply returning them and getting another brand; it sounds like the company that makes them just uses faulty foam.
