if there have already been posts about this,plz forgive me,but i just bought an ignition pad about a month ago,and it already stopped working.am i unlucky,or is it truly a peice of crap that thousands of pplz wasted there money on?and if so,i saw a dance pad made by konami that was pretty much like the ignition,should i get it?

Yeah, there have been posts about it. The Ignition 3.0 is an overpriced piece of junk but RedOctane will do absolutely nothing about it because people keep buying them. Also, the forums have a search feature. Please use it. You would have easily found an answer to your question without having to make a new post.

As for your other question, Konami made a foam pad a long time ago. It was called the Dance Dance Revolution Controller Deluxe. In fact, RedOctane's original Ignition was nothing more than a copy of the Konami Deluxe pad, with a couple things changed here and there. However, the pad is very difficult to find now, since Konami doesn't make them anymore and doesn't look like they have any plans to do so either.

Ignitions are crap. Your lucky that yours lasted a month. When I got one, it was broken out of the box. Any pad made by Konami is good if you compare it to it's competition (so comparing a Konami softpad to a CF doesn't count).
