Okay guys, I have the Korean Pump it up for PS2 and Cobalt flux pads. Given that the pad that I have for pump uses the USB port, button mapping, and that reportedly many usb converters don't work with the CFs, and CF is taking their sweet ass time making control boxes, what is my best way to play Pump it up with my CFs?
any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated, thanks _________________

Remove the CF logo in the middle of the pad. Take out the piece of wood, and there you go. _________________

I have already removed the wood, but the buttons are not properly mapped. How can I address this? I would imagine it's easier on a computer, but I am using a ps2 _________________

Yeah, basically you need to mod your control box. The PS2 versions of Pump are not re-mappable.
The best solution for playing Pump at home is the softpad that comes with it. The buttons are properly sized and the pad actually holds up quite well. You'd really be better off modding that than doing the CF thing, which will take a lot more work and the buttons will still all be the wrong sizes. _________________
