I'm just bored. What speed do you usually play on?

I usually play 4x for most songs. The lowest speed mod I'll touch is 1.5x and that's only for VerTex, VerTex^2, Pandemonium, Energizer, etc. The lowest speed mod really I'll ever use is 3x for songs like Destiny, etc.

I use the bar. biggrin.gif

Well, it depends. I like to read at about 500 bpm, so I use the appropriate speed mods. Sometimes I read faster/slower depending on how well I know the song.

X2 is my "default" speed mod and I'll adjust as necessary for the song (Turn it On gets an X2.5, Zodiac and Anubis get X3, there's a bunch of X1.5s, VerTex and Pandy are on X1), though I've taken a liking to C300 on some songs that it won't disqualify me on.

lolz I read slow (I play no-bar, but it seems even other no-bar players read at X2.5 as a default). E13.gif

1.5x for Vertex and Vertex^2, 2x for Pandy and Energizer, 3x for higher then 185 that's not listed above, 4x for 145-185, 5x for 120-145, 6x for things like Anubis, one false move, and d-code.

C450 if I'm playing a song I'm not disqualified on by using it. Other than that I'll read pretty fast speed mods, but I use Distant instaed of Overhead (my FA is equal on both perspectives).

Usually around 400 BPM no bar and around 450-500 with bar.
For doubles, around 250-350.

As fast as I can still read it. Even though they're almost definitely not the same default scroll rate, 4x on 180 in PIU is as fast as I can go (I haven't gotten to play ITG in a while, and my default reading of 450-500 is probably higher now).

I do 2x - 2.5x on moderate-speed songs, 3x - 4x on slower songs, and 1x - 1.5x on the fastest songs. Sometimes I use C450 on songs with ridiculously fast scroll speed parts (yes, I'm talking about you, VerTex).

Anyway, I use 1x for Vertex 1/2, 1.5x for Pandy and Energizer, 3x for 145-200, and 4x for 144 and below. I don't touch Cmods. I think that's how it should be played.

I said sometimes. I can pass VerTex and Robotix without CMods, but it's very difficult.

Yeah, that's basically me too except the 2x on Pandy and Energizer bit. E10.gif

I <3 the bar. I can't play without it. biggrin.gif

I think you should continue to mention this in every single post you make.

I read comfortably about 400-500 without the bar, and about 500-650 with it.

My default speed used to be x2, but i recently changed it to x2.5

i usually use x2.5 (anything around 130-170 bpm)
x3 (anything around 110-120 bpm)
x4 (anything under 110)
x1.5 (anything around 300 bpm such as energizer, pandy etc.)
x1 (anything 400+ vertex, vertex^2 etc but robotix does not count E10.gif)
x2 (anything around 180-200 bpm what's goin on remember december?)

That's pretty much it but sometimes it varies. Depending if i know the song well or not i will use x3 for more things than just 120 bpm.

Here's how it goes:
100-125 BPM = x4
125-166 = x3
166-200 = x2.5

After that, there are only a few songs, Vertex, Vertex2, Pandy, and Energizer. I play x1.5 on all 4 of them, though I can't comfortably read the speed up in both Vertexs at x1.5, so I just memorized those particular sections

Hurray for good memory.

Oh, and if I'm lazy and don't want to change speeds, I'll just play C450

P.S. (I'm a no bar player unless I'm trying to seriously score, and people say that this is pretty fast for no bar, but it seems pretty average to me.)

1x, although I'm not opposed to using speed mods.

I prefer 420 - 450 BPM, and I'll use speed mods accordingly.
