I'm having trouble with the part where you have a repeated right foot jackhammer with a weird rhythm. I think it's about halfway through the song. Anyways, I was wondering what technique I should use on that part. All one foot, two feet alternating or hands.
Any help is appreciated.

EDIT, I accidentally said I needed help on euphoria earlier. Sorry, got the songs confused.

Dont' use hand in Euphoria, that would just make it silly hard because of pad misses at that speed.

Just use one foot. Yes, I know that means you have to do 16ths (or 32nds in the slowdown) jacking on one foot, but that is really the only way. THat's why Euphoria is a complete pain to score.

Like a lot.

Just shift your weight for those 32nd bursts. They're only on two arrows, and never last for more than five arrows, so they're easy if you just shift your weight. Perhaps you're stepping too hard, or lifting your feet too high?

Unfortunately the easiest way is to just learn the rhythm and stomp with one foot.

Just use one foot for the Beatmania part. If finding the sounds is hard, just learn to play that part visually.

That part of the song is the "here's a bunch of arrows that don't follow anything you can hear, let's see if you can hit them anyway" part, so don't expect it to make sense. Just train your right foot to do the first bit, and then both feet for the second bit, naturally.

or you could listen to the music and see what all it follows.

what actually works pretty well is watching videos of people playing utopia and listening to how they hit the one-footed steps...it helped me get it down

try listening, it's following three main things:
1. & 2. a pair of synths
3. the lead synth interacting with it's own echo produces another sound that, while not really there, is still heard. sort of like how two slightly dissonant notes produce a "buzz" sound that can be heard even though it's not actually present.

Foy made the chart. It follows something.

Which is a lot better than following the lead synth...?

yes, it is. it makes for something that's challenging to FA, and unique.
besides, if memory serves me correctly, the hard chart follows only the lead in that section.

Personally I find that charts that only follow the most obvious thing you can hear are beginning to get boring and predictible. That's why while everyone bashes Tribal Style hard and the like, I find it a nice change of pace from expert sometimes. Utopia expert is one of the top 3 10+ difficulty charts in the game i think.

The 32nds and 12ths don't exist in the music, period. Maybe the 32nds, possibley, but NOT the 12ths. If you think so, you're wrong, so whatever. You act like Cfoy can't make a mistake in a chart. Guess what, he's human too!
