Backwards hands?

How many of you do backward bends for hands like in Anubis and Solina? I usually just hit with my hands first instead of doing backwards hands

I usually just spin around and do it 'backwards'.

For stuff like in Anubis I just switch my body around before the quad hit.

If it's a backwards hand that results in a quad like in Anubis (but unlike Go 60 Go Hard and Monolith R1), then I usually turn around to do it backwards. I tried doing them the way they're "supposed" to be done a few times, but I either miss the hands or lose my balance before I can get up again for the next step.

If it's a backwards hand that doesn't result in a quad (like Dawn or Zodiac), then I use the same hand for both arrows, using the other hand to hold the bar if necessary.

I grab the right side bar with my right hand, lean back and hit the down and right arrows with my left hand. (same as in Dawn)

You get used to it.

I can "bracket-rape," which is essentially just shifting my weight on the arrows to hit them without moving. I often do this when I've screwed up on a song and don't want to play anymore.

haha, my shoes are 9.5s but i still cant just use my feet, if i dont use my hands, i'll be lazy and quick step, which is a good skill to learn

You guys know that you don't have to hit the 3 or 4 arrows at the exact same time, do you? You don't have much time, but if you're quick enough, you can abuse that... You can hit UR a few milliseconds BEFORE you would normally hit the hands then DL in the Marvelous window. You need to be really quick, but it's possible once you get the hang of it!

Anyone here know how much time you have to register hands that way?

As for me, even with feet size 14 I have trouble hitting hands with my feets, heh! :/ In the hands part in solina, I simply hold the freeze with one hand and hit both arrows with my feets! :)
