DDR + Pop n Stage would = Technomotions pad
since the Pop n Stage pad seems to resemble a Pump it Up pad with 4 diagonals and a center panel....

Well, not like it matters, as the odds of me ever playing this machine is about 1000 to 1.

Maybe Konami should make a new dance game to appeal to an older audience again? Replacement for DDR, doesn't it make more sense?

I can't believe they would invest time and money to make this when they could use it to develop a more difficult and stylish version of DDR to bring back the audiences. The general consensus (while not always true) is that DDR got easy and the appeal of IIDX/Pop'n in terms of song selection and style killed the arcade series. Bring out a machine full of 9's and 10's, drop the Dancemania folks and pick up some better selections (or go back to the regular Dancemania series and license some of the missed stuff that was so good) and make the new hardware more advanced. Don't bring out this kiddie crap.

* Point of game

* At 1 play 100 Yen you can play to 3 stages. Inserting credit, when you start, it selects tune first. Tune after the selecting, mode is chosen from following ones. All tune it could choose tune, from 1st stage. Furthermore, there is no BPM indication.

o The paste paste for the first time -> it is the mode where for the new person is easy.
o Fever challenge -> it is mode for the person who is accustomed.
o They are love love couple -> 2 human play private modes.

* Choosing tune, when you start, DJ does tune introduction, it is dance start.

* The panel of the foot from the left is the panel of 3 types of "blue yellow red" in the side one line. The 譜 aspect, like DDR is not something which flows to directly above from under the truth, it is the kind of feeling which from above is approached under with slanted angle.

* Usually because the 譜 aspect is footprint pattern, the panel of the same color as the footprint is stepped on. There is a "♪ 譜 aspect" and a "skeleton 譜 aspect" in addition to the 譜 aspect of 3 colors. When the "♪ 譜 aspect" is stepped on, various sound does. When the "skeleton 譜 aspect" is stepped on, it explodes and around of the 譜 aspect can be filled sight temporarily.

The point to make it fun for kids is nice and all...but I still think that on this one:

Konami = LOSE

For some reason, I see this game making little money. There is not a large enough base for it to gather. I highly doubt a lot of little kids are going to go to their local arcades and play this. In essence, it looks like it might just flop...kinda like some of Konami's other rhythm games did.

Yeah, it's going to suck but konami then will realize that their audience is us. They will probably start feeling the heat of ITG and make a much more competitive dance style game. I'm hoping they bring back solo mode, it will remain in my heart forever.
