Does every minor infraction really constitute warn points?

This locked topic is the reason for the creation of this topic. And yes for the record, I did PM Cutriss since he is the mod that gave me my point. I am not completely satisfied with his answer and therefore I seek further comments.

As I explained to Cutriss in my PM, I was aware of the sticky thread for modchips/imports. I elected not to post my question in the sticky because the thread mainly centers around fliptops, slide cards, and the pesky anti-mod codes for the older JP PS1 mixes. I read the first post of the thread and noticed nothing about importing European games. Using the forum's "search" feature, I came across the following two results. These were posted in the Modchip/Import sticky thread that involved importing and playing Dancing Stage games and were essentially ignored:

I was hoping for more in depth answer from somebody who has experience in this area.

I really don't mean to be such a dick over one warning point when I have had plenty in the past. I just don't feel like I deserved this one and that perhaps I was singled out since I have had a number of points in the past considering that there are a number of locked threads on page 1 of the Console Games forum that warning points were not issued. I don't know. I just had a question and created a thread about it because I thought that my thread would give me the best chance to get a good answer to my question before I possibly waste my money on a converter or something that I didn't need/didn't work.

I'm open to feedback/clarification, hence this thread.
