Thought I'd mention...
Sometimes your card wont save... I've had to buy a new card because it wouldnt save anything and was stuck with all the mods/song/combo.

I have a killer idea:
Try it and see.
(However, I believe it's been mentioned not to work. I could be wrong, so try it!) _________________

Hey...this may be a retarded post but my older brother just got me a flash drive for Christmas and I was trying to set up my Editable.ini file now so my Displayname and stuff would already be set up when I go to the arcade.
All I need to do to make the file is copy and paste the info into Notepad then save the Notepad file as "Editable.ini" right? I would think that would work, but I've never done this before.
Sorry again if this post is retarded, but reassurance would be nice. _________________

I'm not positive, but I remember hearing about one person who tried to set up the editable.ini in advance before even putting it in a machine, and it got overwritten by the default file. The procedure that the machine goes through to create the neccessary files on the card probably doesn't bother to check if there's already an editable.ini on it. So most likely you need to play one game before you can successfuly edit the file. If you don't have a laptop you can take to the arcade, you'll likely have to wait until your second visit to see your name on the screen. |

Yay for not reading 11 pages of stuff, so i dont know whether this has been covered. I could use my PS2 mem. card on the ITG2 machine at my arcade, because it has the slot for it. So some machines would be able to use a PS2 memory card. But only the ones with the slot for it. |

Um, nope. I have never heard of that happening. There is no PS2 slot for ITG arcade, period. _________________

ITG machines that started their lives as DDR machines might still have the Playstation memory card slots that many DDR machines have, but they're not attached to anything inside and are rendered completely nonfunctional by the conversion. Yeah, that won't work. Sorry. |

It's all gravy...I think I created the file on my own just fine and if not, I'll deal with it.
Thanks anyways, but I don't need the file. _________________

Once you play one game with your memory card, it will have an editable.ini file on it. You can edit that file to set your display name and your weight (for calorie calculation purposes, even though the calorie counter is extremely broken and useless). |
