Hey gang, I have a little survey, I'm curious about the ITG demographics. If you folks could take a second and fill out this little thing, that would be great.
NOTE: This survey applies only to people who play ITG in the arcade (not stepmania versions, etc.)

(Note: I don't think this counts as advertising. If a mod could sticky this that would be cool too.) |

Hey your question about trains is kinda vague... Is that 2 hours after 10am or 2 hours after 10:30? And is it 10:30 am or pm cuz it did not state specifically (though it's probably 10:30am)? _________________

Two hours after 10:30 - I should probably edit that.
Some goober entered an incredibly huge number (needed exponential notation) for that one... |

Adding characters or an annoucer is absolutely the worst idea ever. _________________

The question should be "how many times has an ITG machine crashed on you" not "has an ITG machine ever crashed on you." |

It happened to me, but I have this boot-screen fetish, and it crashed at the end of someone else's game so I really didn't mind.
I've gotten 16 responses so far, some trends are becoming apparent! Stay tuned!
OH, and if anyone here posts over on our sister site ITG freak... maybe... they could show them the survey too? The link for it? Hmmmm? |

Are you going to post the results after n submissions or something?
If so, what is n? Or if you are going by length of time, how long? As much much as I don't like my stats course, I'm kinda interested in the results as well. _________________

I don't play Arcade ITG yet, BUT IF I EVER SEE DANCERS IN ANOTHER DANCING GAME I WILL CRY!
DDR gets a break if it ever happens again, but dancers do absolutely nothing interesting, mostly are completely off of the music, and most of all ARE JUST THERE TO DISTRACT YOU.

I've leave it there for a few days, then I'll try and post the details.
But, here are a few tidbits so far:
-Most people are strongly against having "characters" in the game
-Most people are against having announcers
-20% of the players have had a machine crash on them
-Ninjas are more popular then pirates
-Only one person thinks OJ was framed
-The train question: the following are answers submitted: 42, 50, 69, 100, 190, 245, 1337, and 99999999999999999999999999999999. |

Haha, SPOOKANE. That's a funny typo. It's Spokane, Washington. >=P
I just answered. Pirates are the best because that's my school mascot. BEST. MASCOT. EVER. _________________

Well you're lucky, the PSM machine has crashed on me 2 or 3 times (and another 4 or 5 on non-me people) and JG has crashed on me at least once (probably somewhere around 6 times total). |

Every 1st stage i would complete, ranging from a 10-11 footer, i would press the green button, shocked my fingers and the machine would freeze. No electrical devices that would carry out a signal were anywhere near the machine. Not to mention that the attendant told me i was the only one it froze on. O.o Something tells me im gonna have to start using gloves when i play. _________________

If you have a Korean cabinet, there is about a 95% chance that it isn't grounded..those things are ghetto as hell. We actually had people freezing our machine by putting money into our coin slot, which would then discharge a nice shot of static electricity and then freeze the machine...loads of fun >.< (we've since fixed it heh) _________________

I'm up to 46 responses, which seems to be a good level. I'll probably let the poll run for a few more days, I cross-posted it today at ITGFreak, so we'll see if we can get more responses that way. |
