I don't think it should win or will. I mean why is this 3 year old game on the list. I just don't get it, its like nominating tony hawk 4.

The DDRfreak community is not larger then the Emo/Goth/Punk community that religiously watches MTV.

Have you turned on MTV lately? EmoGothPunk children do not watch MTV; they shop at Hot Topic and play DDR. But that still doesn't influence how DDR will fair in this voting, as most MTV watchers like pop Rap and Hip Hop.

I agree with E-prime...im suprised DDR was even nominated because MTV is mostly all about rap/hip hop , pop, and maybe some rock here or there....i would be happy to see it win though.

BUT it does have some tought competition...midnight Club 3 has a kick-arse music track, tony hawk's is ok, and im not sure about Def Jam.

Anyone forget that DDR is slightly cool with the emo/punk/goth group. Most of them play anywayz...then again, I forgot we're in 2005...

I'm guessing BT.

But the majority of MTV viewers isnt the punk/emo/goth group...plus this was already explained in the beginning of this thread....

I know it's prestigious to be nominated for any award.

However...

I would rather have my testes stapled to a moving train then watch MTV for one more second. frust.gif

That hurt to read that. Getting the point across:8.5
Graphicness: 10

I would have to agree, however, not as graphically. I would rather have the Megadoomer Stand on my chest for three and a half days.

or it's saying that girls right boob is sagging downwards *shrugs*

If it was taken a bit sooner, then it'd be pointing at her hoo-ha. And I'm sure MTV wouldn't want that. disturb.gif

I only watch MTV for the Sunday Stew (except for that Pimp my Vehicle shenanigans). Other than that, MTV sucks!

That would be a great idea for next year.

But for now, let's hope DDR wins.

Hey im just happy DDR finnaly gets some recognition for its music. DDR Extreme probably isnt the best pick out of the group to represent DDR as a whole but it has a few decent songs that should win some of the MTV watching crowd over. I got my MTV watching girlfriend hooked on DDR so i see a little hope of it winning in the awards. Well, i know my vote is for DDR...even if it is like voting for the nerd to be Prom King...hey ive seen it happen laugh.gif

It's obvious that MTV simply knows that the majority of people who play DDR, hates Mtv. Thats the only reason why they put it on the nominees, to try and get more publicity and get more people to watch.

Also, I personally don't think that DDR should win because I'm just sick of hearing the same extreme songs. (I love DDR, but i've just heard the same somes every week from all the new people around here for the past 3 years/ goog.gif) So with the extreme songs on DDR, i don't want it to win, nor will it cause MTV sucks.....

But there are really better music games that appeal to the techno/dance culture (which by far i am a part of). like amplitude and frequency. I'd much rather see one of those on the list. True, amplitude had Gay licsenced songs, but they had stuff like Chris child, Freezepop, and DJ HMX to make up for it.

DDR obviously had no chance, it's probably getting last. and anyways, have you ever seen a japanese/korean music video on mtv?
