Weren't there more people on the step design team for ITG2? We just don't know who did what exactly, right? _________________

I know that some of the other members of the DDRSimfiles.com crew are there (namely Udderdude and XXXplizit). _________________

Favorite: C. Foy
Xuxa expert. High expert. Euphoria expert. Energizer medium.
Wow. A step artist that actually follows the music, and does so well. Who would have thought? I mean, he made Utopia and such, but basically all of my favorite single expert charts are his.
Least Favorite: K. Ward
High hard. Tribal Style hard. Monolith expert. July expert.
Wow. A step artist that almost always totally ignores the music. He makes good music, but please... keep him away from the steps, especially on hard. I mean, High hard? That's got to be one of the worst charts in the game. _________________

How do you know that? (Stay out of this, Kiba!)
Besides, since when have Rancidfish's stepcharts ever been relevant to this thread?
Also, why am I taking you so seriously? _________________

How do you guys know who made ITG2 charts?
I like em all. they each have their ups and downs, but all have plenty of fun charts under their belts. While Emirzian does double mostly, I think he could have done a couple more single charts, i only remember 4... and while DFC is one of my least favorite charts in the game, I love his others and would have liked to see what else he could do with single. Same with Ryan, I don't remember seeing a lot from him, and he made one of my all time favorite charts. From ITG1, my favorite charts from each are...
Chris: Hybrid, Bend Your Mind, Oasis, Utopia (even if you dont think you can hear exactly what it's following, it doesnt matter because it still makes sense with the song.... not everything has to be following something, so long as it compliments the music nicely.... and come on, once you learn it, the 2 parts with the L/R arrow jumping and syncopation is fun as hell)
Kyle: Anubis, The Game, Liquid Moon (hard), Zodiac
Emirzian: Don't Promise Me -Happiness- (amazingly fun chart), On A Day Like Today (ditto, shut up), Mythology (ok so the end owns me, but the rest is still really fun)
Matt (great 9 footers): Kiss Me Red, Flying High, Da Roots
Ryan: Mythology hard (very fun), HOTN hard (nice use of crossovers), Turn It On _________________

Kyle | WTF, you're right. I had always though it was Foy because of the L+R part, and the fact that the first half of the chart is totally awesome. However, with how crap the end is, I can totally believe it being a K. Ward chart. Fix'd. _________________

Remember December Hard
Kyle just copied and pasted steps over and over again. Measures 10-15, for example. Also, the EXACT SAME step pattern occurs near the end.
Kagami Expert
This is VERY repetitive. At the beginning, the gallops are copied and pasted.
Also, most of the steps don't go to anything, and it's jump-step-jump heaven.
Edit: God of Repetition - HAND OF TIME EXPERT |

I like some of K. Ward's charts, but not all of them (especially Anubis EX ). M. Puls has some good ones and C. Foy has some really hard but still fun EX charts.
btw, does anyone here know who made the ! Hard chart? _________________

Yep, but since there aren't any in-line step credits in In The Groove 2, they're not immediately apparent.
I think the only one that's common knowledge is D-Code Expert, which I promise is not a 10.

R. McKanna, what did you do again? Turn it On and Bouff are good. But really, where were you when everyone else was making charts?

I was down in Austin hangin' out with DAX, fighting off evil with the power of back-to-back quaaludes and whipits.
No, really, nekura's got it right; I don't write very many Expert-level charts. I swear I've got charts in there somewhere, they're there if you look for them. |
