| looks like fun! maybe i'll make a Dance Dance Bullet. where you where a bullet proof vest and it shoots you every time you mis an arrow. don't give up trying in the middle of PSMO. you'll get shot 150 times! maybe i'll stick with DDI. |

All I could say Is WTF.... hell NO!!!!! you could not pay me to play DDR and get shot with fire at the same time. I agree that there are a few things that do not mix with ddr and fire is not one of them. now an electrical bar would bne great as long as the electricity is not bad. however i dont think am fuly comfortable with being shot with fire as no matter how safe they say it is it stillsounds very very dangerous. All i could say is ..."Havent you heard that DDR and FIRE do not Mix" just like a fatburger with chili fries before playing PSMO

so fire does mix with ddr? thats what your implying you used a double negative making it a positive. It was confusing for a sec, but I know what you mean yeah fire doesnt mix with ddr

Despite what you may think, the Proximity suit doesn't impair your movement very much! During our test at the Fire Arts Festival, I managed to pull off most of Rhythm and Police before just getting too warm to continue playing (It was my third or fourth stage, and I wasn't really feeling up to a 9 footer, it just got sprung on me). It's definitely a different sort of experience. The air rushing in at your face, and the suit gradually getting warmer and warmer really changes things. Since that test, we've somewhat throttled down the amount of fire that gets pushed at you during play. Being good at DDR certaintly helps though!
One thing about the fire: when it goes, you can't see anything. Total white-out. Better hope you read those arrows!
If anyone shows up to try Dance Dance Immolation at Burning Man, let us know you're from DDRFreak! I'll be one of the staff in the green flightsuits, with the patch that says "nicoles". We'll be sure to crank up the difficulty for ya! |

| I sweat enough as it is! I'd probably crumble into a puddle of bubbling goop inside the suit in minutes, especially if the left arrow is not responding from being galvanized shut... |

It's an experiment for the sake of experimenting. You don't have to like it.
If you bothered to click-thru, you would have found out "who comes up with these things". If you're going to use the internet to convey your opinion, at least try and make it an educated one.
Although if you want to make a DDR where water shoots out at you, by all means do so. When you slip and break your leg, make sure to upload the video for us to enjoy.

I agree that DDR with water would be a lot more fun than fire. even DDR with a fast paced wind blast to knock you off the stage when you do bad would be a lot better than fire. still i think this is a new and original idea to use fire but not something that i would play.

Now all we need is to get all the pro DDR players (including Japanese), and have a DDI tournament with no suits. That will finally determine who is the best DDR player ever! The format would be ... last man standing.  |

I dont know anything about anything lower than Extreme.
And I dont know anything about Initial D or any BEMANI.
