For what it's worth, Liquid Moon appears to have been downgraded to an 8 on hard in ItG 2. At least, that was how it popped up as in a Survival Course. And really, I think that's a more accurate rating. The only thing that made it tough in ItG 1 was the mandatory psycho mods; the steps themselves are very tame.
This is supposedly because the steps are 100% new in ITG2...
Confirm/Deny?
I haven't played it as a standalone song yet; the steps in Cohesion (Survival Mode) are the same as the steps in Energy (ItG1). At least - they were the same up to the point that I failed. E2.gif

Indeed, ITG 9 footer are a lot harder from DDR's 9 footers. Like I was playing Stepmania, and I havent seen any 16'th notes in any of DDR's 9 footers

You haven't been looking hard enough.

Milk Chan, bag was a 10-footer last time I checked, but as for 1/32 notes in a Maniac 9-footer, how about looking no further than Tsugaru Maniac?

9s with 16th notes off the top of my head:

So Deep
Xenon
R&P
Saints go marching
Witch Doctor (8, I know, but it has 16ths and is the most tiring DDR song IMO [Yes, more tiring than PSMO.])
Kakumei
Colors Oni
Carytoon Heroes
Hell, almost all of them.

Haha, yeah that's great.

Witch Doctor is not that tiring anyways. I've seen people play PSMO and that song is a bitch. E10.gif

Better question: Have you ever played, seen or even heard PSMO?

Yeah, I've got a B on it at home, haven't tried at arcade. MaxX Unlimited is the hardest DDR 10, IMO. FYI I can also do a lot of ITG 10s, Xuxa, Utopia, Disconnected Hyper, and almost Pandemonium hard.

I really have no idea what it is that makes Wicth Doctor so hard for me, it just really wipes me out.

So....the death runs in PSMO at 290 BPM don't drain your stamina, but the streams in Witch Doctor at 150 BPM do?

I'll admit that Witch Doctor can be tiring, but dude, it's only half as fast as PSMO with about half as many arrows, I don't know how Witch Doctor could possibly be more tiring.

And also, I'll respect your opinion but, nobody passes PSMO before MaxX Unlimited, unless they had never played MaxX Unlimited before they passed PSMO, and I don't see how that's possible anyway, because all the mixes that have PSMO have MaxX on them also.

I'll come in here and say that many ItG 9s are far harder than DDR 9s, but far easier than (actually difficult) DDR 10s. Sometimes they're harder to FC of course, but I'd say the hardest ItG 9s are less flat-out tiring and brutal than PARANOiA Survivor, the first DDR 10 which I passed other than bag and Sakura.

I address this topic in my newbie guide, anyway. They're closing the gap between 9s and 10s. The hardest 9s are almost on par with the easiest 10s.

I never said I beat PSMO first, just that I think MaxX is harder. And yeah, i guess I'm like allergic to WD or something.

Well, saying that it's the hardest implies that PSMO is easier. You usually pass songs in the order of their difficulty or something close to it.

Yeah, but I beat Unlimited before I bought my flip top aand Ex JP, so my order was 300, MU, Bag, Sakura, PS, PSM, PSMO. haven't bothered with Period. Kind of odd, my second 10 being my hardest.

Well that's why he mentioned the songs individually and didn't count them with 'a lot of ITG 10s'. sarc.gif

For your information Disconnected Hyper is now an 11. (And for those who have the home version, is it an 11 there?)

IIRC it says it's a 10 on the home version.

Yeah, Disconnected Hyper is still a 10. Zodiac, however, was dropped to a 9.

And actually, I probably only think Witch Doctor is so hard because I've only played it once, on sucky arcade pads, with arcade timing, with 5 hours of sleep beforehand, outside, in ~90 degree weather, after several hours of walking through Six Flags St Louis, with my Vans that I'm bad at dancing in. So really, Witch Doctor probably isn't nearly as hatrd as I keep making it out to be, but my only experience with it was a bad one XD.

But still, the steps are definately 9-worthy, even if they wouldn't be as tiring under normal circumstances.
