I like the Double-Light stepchart for "Love At First Sight" (DDRMAX2 USA) because I can spin around and still get an AA.

And I hope that is all we will discuss about that song.

Now, back to more important things. I cannot believe I didn't mention this chart for one of the best stepcharts last time...but I will mention it now.

Candy* Oni.

I mostly play songs for how good the actual songs are, but there's one song I'm sad to admit has a good stepchart: A Little Bit of Ecstasy (Heavy). Especially the slow part.

DJ Amuro's A. On Standard or Heavy, doesn't really matter. Especially Standard at the end, with that lovely freeze arrow...it just fits so well.

Also Rhythm and Police KOG mix (Heavy).

Just watch those annoying videos off YouTube where you can hear the stomping...

I really like the stepchart for R3, now I will enjoy playing that! Some of the other songs with stepcharts I like would be: Exotic Ethnic, Freckles, Afronova, Paranoia Evolution, V, and many others.

Response to an old post.

"I disagree...besides the one part where it gets all skippy, it's just eighth notes the whole time."

But that's what makes Spin the Disc so awesome. It goes so great with the music in that sense. Through that whole song I feel like I could be dancing on that rainbow background with the video. tongue.gif

I'd have to say Healing Vision heavy. It's just so fun to play, and the song is amazing. I'd say Move Your Feet from DDR Extreme USA comes in a close second, but more could've been done with that chart.

HVAM heavy has a killer chart that really flows for me, even when I double step it. There's only one step that ever feels weird to me in the chart.

Also, Happy Angel does have a killer chart, but it was really weird to sightread.

I have fun with 321 Stars, but it's kind of technical for an 8.

MaxX Unlimited has a really well-made chart that follows the music flawlessly, but the music is so ridiculous that I wouldn't call it a "good" chart in the sense that it's fun to play. Likewise with Chaos.

If Burning Heat were on sync, it would be a fantastic chart.

I could go on and on, but I guess if I have to pick one song, it would be The Shining Polaris on every difficulty. It's the song that helped me transcend to 3's, then 5's, then 7's back when I was first starting out. For some reason, the song just pushes you right through the chart effortlessly, and suddenly all the steps are easy, even on other songs.

I'm In The Mood For Dancing, FACE, Era (nostalmix), Do You Remember Me, and Justify My Love are all fantastic charts.

Personally, I likkeeeee

Little Boy

Do You Remember Me

Electro Tuned

Spin the Disc

AM-3P AM EAST

El Ritmo Tropical

Era

Freckles

Gentle Stress

Get Up N' Move

i feel...

Love this feelin' (I'm just now starting to like this chart)

Miracle Moon

On The Jazz

Orion Civ

Rain of Sorrow

So Deep

The Least 100 Seconds, sorta

Trip Luv

Tsugaru, minus the fudged up triplets in the middle

Xenon

That's just a quick look through recall...as everyone can probably see, I have an odd taste in stepcharts- if you don't like a chart, there's a good chance that I do.
