DDR X2 US Arcade: Officially out

DDR X2 has been officially released and it's already located in two places: Bumpernets in Alabama and Round 1 in California. For those who have been living under a rock, DDR X2 is the latest release of DDR with improved pads from the X hardware.

Initial reports include fixed timing, fixed pad, no screen lag. Some songs that are normally locked for non-eAmuse connected machines are unlocked out of the box including: Chinese versions of Nijiiro and iFuturelist (with Challenge charts), deltaMax and the revival of BeForU.

Fun Junction inside the Shoppingtown Mall located in Dewitt, NY has been confirmed to be getting DDR X2. The machine has been paid for and we're all just waiting for its arrival. Best estimate was sometime within a month, though obviously hopefully it's much sooner than that.

Geeze only two places in the country to start and I lived near one? I gotta get with it again. Didn't even know the DDR scene was big over here.

Disney Quest in Walt Disney World has X2. It's surrounded by Supernova 2, two pump machines, 8 Guitar Hero machines (not joking), air hockey, and plenty of screaming kids. Machine volume is set to as low as possible. What a waste of a new machine.
