I just got a Red Octane foam pad from a buddy who won it in a tournament a while back and never used it. I plugged it into the PS2 to play MAX2, and it won't register any input from the controller. Is this just a bad pad? _________________

It sounds obvious but check all connections. Make certain that everything is plugged in nice and good. Try using it in both the 1P and 2P controller ports. If it still doesn't work, than yes, I'd say it's dead. _________________

Also, give it a go on a non ddr ps2 game.
I thought a foam mat of mine didn't work when i first got it for pc, but then when I tried playing metal slug with it, turned out it was my converter that was useless. And it also turned out to be really hard trying to play metal slug with a dance mat. |
