I played ITG all the way until the 9/10 ish range so I don't really know many charts easier than 8 beyond what's in Survival courses.
I know several good 5 footers in DDR to learn crossovers from, the ones I learned crossovers from (Gradiusic Cyber Light especially) but I can't name very many good easy ones in ITG to pass on to newer players:
Baby Baby medium (has some spins though)
Agent Blatant medium (it's a Foy chart, there are no double steps if you stick with the entire chart)
Anubis medium, maybe?? don't remember
Go 60 Go medium
The Message medium (this one is ugly though, you have to reset your foot after each crossover)
Basically, I'm looking for 4 to 6 range for learning crossovers. Tricky Disco Hard has the pillar kind you see in AM-3P, which I think would be an easier kind to practice on than the typical LDR "reach all the way across the pad" kind. But they're in the middle of streams so somebody who doesn't recognize them visually would have trouble. |

I recommend playing doubles. Even the medium charts can teach you more complex crossovers and you can take what you learn from that into your singles play. Hand of Time medium doubles is a good chart to play. _________________

Perhaps I should have mentioned that I need to learn these for someone else's sake. I can do 9s on doubles, I've passed Phantom with 76%, I consider crossovers my specialty =P
I need to know the extra easy ones so I can teach other people.
Rynker don't lie to me. There's a part like this near the end of Tricky Disco expert:
(can't remember why, but you always have your right foot on Up) I always cross over to hit the UR jump and then you PUNISH everybody playing the chart for saving energy and being clever with that immediate candle step. I hate that part so much. |
