ITG, hands down, though I hardly play either anymore.

hahaha get that pun? hands down...because ITG has hands and DDR doesnt....lolol

i vote pump it up because i like the larger variety in tracks and the fact it feels more like dancing. less of a focus on score and more of a focus on fun makes for the better dance game if you ask me.

Even though the purpose for this thread is long past due, I would like to comment if this is the appropriate thread in which to do so. I first tried (I watched it a few months earlier without trying it) Dance Dance Revolution a couple years ago. I started playing Dance Praise a couple months later, and eventually started playing Dance Dance Revolution regularly 11 months after that. Not counting Dance Praise, it has been not quite a year since I started playing Dance Dance Revolution regularly, and I have tried In The Groove only on three occasions -- three arcade visits, two the same place revisited. The first time I tried In The Groove was less than three months ago (it was a really quiet machine, so the experience was not optimal), and I think I like In The Groove better. Dance Dance Revolution is pretty cool for lack of more sophisticated wording, and Pump It Up is okay. I do not know much anything about the lawsuit between Konami and RoXor, but I wonder whether it would have been a better idea for Konami to have tried to negotiate with them instead of jumping right to suing their pants off (I do not know if they actually did do this, so all corrections are very much appreciated). I mean, wouldn't it be better to try to peacefully win over an offender instead of punching the lowlife out? Why couldn't they have just worked together?

Sadly your right, there were no negotiations as far as we know, just Konanmi being... Konami.
