Is Stepmania 3.95 cvs with groove 2.4 theme the best way to play itg2 on stepmania? Does anyone know what the ini code for the in the groove exact arcade timings are?

| You can just use different themes. There isn't really a best way to play, just whatever you prefer. I can get the timing windows later. |

Whenever I play a song on stepmania 3.95 cvs it crashes and says that its missing a .//log file or something like that. Then it brings up a notepad and asks if I'd like to make a new log file. What should I do and where do I put this log file?

| You don't need a log file. Something is wrong with your stepmania and it crashes, so it creates a log file to tell you what went wrong. It's probably only when you play ITG2 songs though, right? Or does it crash on every song? |

I only tested itg2 songs on it. So I guess thats probably it. Why doesnt stepmania 3.95 cvs work with itg2 songs?

StepMania 3.95 is super unstable! instead, download StepMania 3.9+ very stable, and it supports rolls Negative BPMs and all that creative poopy. Dont' get 4.0 though cause that build isn't as stable either. The only thing is that 4.0 supports Rolls.

3.95 is fine....its groove2.4 that's glitchy as balls (at least for me)

I have never had problems with 3.95.
It's the theme if anything.

It has something to do with the backgrounds that are used for the songs. I'm uploading the modified ITG2 songs that I have that will prevent your Stepmania from crashing. I'll post when it's done uploading.
