Are the timing windows smaller on mdawgs itg2 pc? If the timing windows are smaller is there anyway to change it back to the exact itg2 arcade timings? I can triple star almost all the expert songs on itg ps2 but when im playing mdawgs itg2 pc im struggling just to star songs that I can triple star on itg ps2.

That's because the ps2 has a wider timing window than the arcade (and mdawg)

I doubt that would be it since the timings are only slighty bigger on itg ps2. Its not like comparing ddr extreme arcade to ddr extreme console version now thats where the timing difference is actually quite huge. Its not like my timings suck cause I have gotten 6 greats on max 300 heavy at the arcade and I've AAAed it on controller on a hacked ddr extreme with exact arcade timings(I think the exact arcade timings are even a little bit harder than at the arcade)

Fine, don't believe me. Just look at mdawg's ini files and see if you'll believe your own two eyes.

It always felt off to me. Not necessarily tighter, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was. If it really bothers you, then just play SM with the Groove 2 theme. Its better and you can edit the ini to set the timing to ITG arcade timing. Though you can probably do that witg ITGPC too. Dunno if it works the same way.
