seriously, my footspeed sucks but i am trying to find a way to pass V^2.

the part with all of the purple notes (Bass Rush?) always makes me fail. can somebody help me find a good way to cheat it? My feet can't move that fast, so i try jumping but alas, no pass.

thanks in advance

There a few ways:

1. Cheat it and just try to bs the pattern
2. Slow it down in stepmania and learn how to play the pattern
3. Play stuff other than officials that can help build your foot speed. There are plenty of fast charts out there to practice with.

A lot of them are down/left/right arrows in that section, so try positioning your feet so your toes are on the center non-panel and your heels can hit the arrow, then fire away. As long as you don't go too fast, you should be able to at least pass through it.

rofl, just vibrate your feet. It's similar to Euphoria's 24ths...

yeah, exact reason as to why i have no pass on euphoria :-<

i believe my groovestats is lacking scores for 8 songs which is why my average is only an 89% (i have almost 50 expert tristars). The problem is that my footspeed is horrible and my stamina is even worse.

Vertex^2 is probably the song i am closest to passing out of such 8 because i'm pretty good at reading 1x and its not so much straight stamina, there's lots of breaks. I've failed it with over 50% many many times but i have never gotten past the purples

ICNH: thanks for the advice! this was the kind of stuff i was looking for. If i focus primarily on those 3 arrows it might be easier.

Maybe somebody could suggest a custom simfile that is passible for me but includes bursts to help me with my footspeed

FIRE FIRE! E10.gif It's from the U.S. Open pack, but I doubt you could pass it if you cant pass euphoria. Happy Adventure, Delightful Adventure is also in that pack, but the bursts are slightly longer than the 4 or 5 arrow bursts you are looking for.

Just practice more! Don't keep analyzing it, just keep playing fast songs not quite as intense as vertex^2 and you'll get it soon enough
