Hello everyone! New to the forums here, but I've been enjoying DDR for a few years now.

I've been playing all my DDR games without a hitch on the PS2, but when I plugged my pads in to the XBoX last night I experienced a huge problem - the arrow pads will only work when pressed one at a time. I can't do double steps at all, or stand on a freeze arrow and hit others.

My V2 pads have been working just fine, but I'm at a loss as to why they just don't like the XBoX. E2.gif

Thanks!

That's a known problem with Ignition 2.0 pads. There really isn't any fix that I know of. The newer 3.0 Ignition pads seem to work fine with XBOX DDR games, but some people have bad luck with those. If your local EB Games sells them, I would recommend you try those.

Thanks for responding, PureBlue - I took a look at the V3 pads but then I saw RedOctane is selling metal pads! I bought two of them, one for me and one for my hubby so we can play together when he gets home from deployment!

Since the V2 pads work just fine with the PS2 games, we'll keep those around for DDR on the go as they're certainly more portable than the metal pads. E4.gif

You're bought the Afterburner metal pads, right? If you bought one (or two), don't be surprised if it has a screwed up control box. I ordered one and my control box never worked.
