Cobalt Flux Modding

Alright, i finnally found a computer that works with my cobalt flux.
Vista totally sucks for EMS USB2 or just flux, so so you know.

I just bought off Cobaltflux.com their clear arcade mod kit
I would like to do a base mod with a bar.
Im thinking about getting a thick plywoodbase 4'' like real arcade and add sheetmetal.

Any could give me a link to do that?

Is it possible to add lights to a cobalt flux?

Im working on the quarter mod to increase sensibility.
After i wrap them in tinfoil, how i tape them? How much pennies per arrow? And wich kind of tape i use to not lose the contact.

Where can i buy metal pipes for doing the bar ?
How much they cost?

you can get the metal bars at most any home supply store like Lowes or Home Depot

also wondering about the penny mod myself. CFs are pretty sensitive as it is, but it would be nice to give the contacts a more solid feel.

Dime works best if you don't want it triggering randomly; penny if you want it to trigger when dust falls on it.

Also, it will not give the pad an arcade feel. What you want to do for an arcade feel is get slightly thicker panels and slightly longer screws for the non-arrow panels. I think the CF panels are 1/4". If so, you'd probably want to replace with 5/16" or 3/8" for best results and sand the edges. That will do far more for an arcade feel than modding it by defacing American currency.

Also, if you do a coin mod, and it's ghosting, take a very small piece of foam, smaller than the coin itself, and put it right in the middle of the coin. (I did the coin mod on my TX's for a while, but they wouldn't stay on and I didn't have the epoxy to make them stay.)

I'd imagine putting multiple coins spread out would distribute the stress on the sheets, reducing denting. Might make it too sensitive, since the surface of the contact is curved, so the farther away from the center you go the less space there is.
