if you don't care, then just play with a dualshock. it's even cheaper than playing with a pop'n mini, and probably more enjoyable.

They're part of the SP Pop'n 14 bundle (OMG PRE-ORDER!!), as said earlier. If I HAD a controller, I'd save up & get this. For only $120, the bundle includes:

Pop'n Music 14 Fever (DUHH)

BTW, it comes out July 13, one day after Pop'n Music 14: Fever (just the game). Yup. A month & 17 days before DistorteD comes out.

OK, I FINALLY found Pop'n controllers on Play-Asia!! Which one would be the best one to start w/? I'm looking at either 8, 9, or 10 (which I heard the unlocking system was awful) right now, cuz I need to start cheap i.e only $35, not $65. THEN I'll get the newer ones (12, maybe 13, & 14)

I just bought the game yesterday ($52 after calculating the exchange rate. Not bad!) and this version's unlocking system confuses the heck outta me! To anyone that can answer this, what's the object of the unlocking system?

EDIT: Never mind. I think I figured it out; it's similar to PoMu 8's unlocking method: Before Arcade Mode starts, a certain quota you gotta meet is displayed i.e. completing all 3 of your selected songs with a Fever Clear. Once the quota's met and you complete your songs, you'll go through some Fever Senshi Pop'n 14 dialogue and then you unlock something!

Keep in mind that I chose the Easy mode for Fever Senshi Pop'n 14. Hard mode could have a different unlocking method than what was explained above.

@Zoniku, if cheap is your thing, try to find the "Konami Best" release of either Pop'n Music 7 or 8. It's similar to a "PlayStation Greatest Hits" release which'll set you back $30 for each game.

YES!!!! Finally, after so many years, I can get Pop'n Music!! I'm getting the home controller (I ain't paying $400 for AC, or making one.....yet!!), along w/ Pop'n 9 (Konami The Best) (but it doesn't have 777, which 8 has, but doesn't ship within 24 hrs, so getting 9). Since shipping is $26.60 for controller & game (but comes within 2 days), I gotta pay $50 (which I have) & my mom pays $50 (cuz I didn't get to go see Video Games Live)! YAAAAYYYYY!! Now I own all of Bemani's on going games! Now I JUST need a JPN DDR & I'll have a JPN version of every Bemani games (excluding Keyboardmania) & making this my 5th JPN PS2 game & my 7th JPN game (Ouendan, IIDX Red & Happy Sky (DistorteD will probably be the 6th PS2 & 8th JPN), Jump Ultimate Stars, GF/DM Masterpiece Silver & Gold)!!

My goal (right now) is to get atleast (but I KNOW I'll get more) one or more of each ONGOING Bemani series.

If I ever find it & have enough money, I'd might consider getting PPP & Keyboardmania (if it's on PS2, don't think it lived long enough) someday. But now, my heart's set on Bemani's living franchises.

Aw, man. I rechecked my order & it said it shipped "Air Economy Box", so it'll probably arrive either Sat. at the least (I'd doubt) or around Tues.....It was .20 KG under the UPS limit, cuz if it WAS UPS, it should've came today. My GF/DM controllers & game (all together) came within 2 days by UPS.
