can you run SM through your PS2???

hey everyone i was just wondering after reading this about swap magic

"Launch program from USB devices"

what's to stop me from plugging my computer to my PS2 start StepMania and loading it up through my PS2 using swap magic...
i myself haven't yet gotten the opportunity to try but i would think it MITE work.
i would imagine that the controls would be hard to setup...i mean would you use the keyboard to get to the options and then just map the steps on the pad??? and could PS2 handle that?

so many questions...now some answers?

I thought there was a special format you can burn it to a single-layer DVD-R.

That was for ITG though, but they just run on different themes.

If you have the right software, yes, you can burn a hacked ITG. But you also have to mod your PS2 or use a Swapdisc.

You guys are missing the point. He means running sm on the PS2 WITHOUT much modification. I don't think he wants to go to the point where he has to "build" his own game to make it work.

We didn't miss the point, it has just already been said that it can't be done. I don't know why you would bother anyway, when you could just get a PC to AV adapter and a USB adapter and play Stepmania on your TV with the same end result.
