I've just bought a fusion+sparkle set of pads from bsnusa, with this adaptor :
http://www.buynshop.com/productinfo/45/VG-PS-USB2X1/
I can't seem to get that thing to work.. it came loose in a plastic bag, without any driver whatsoever, and I've got a black version of the thingie, not a transparent one. The two pads are recognized by windows game controller, all control works fine individually, but I can't get up/down or right/left at the same time.
I've tried to set automapping off in stepmania, also tryed the start/select/up thing with no avail... I'm kind of lost, and it's frustrating to read "(Support DDR Combo Moves)" in the title of the adapter...
When exactly do I need to make that up/start/select move ?
Is there any drivers ? |

I have a blueshark, and I'm using a super dual box pro. Whenever I press two pad buttons at once, it begins to push all the buttons onscreen. It really messes me up on songs with holds and taps, so I was wondering:
Is this an adapter problem? If so, what adaptor should fix it?
Or is it a pad problem? I've got a week to replace it, so if anyone could respond quickly I would appreciate it. |

I've got an EMS converter (like the one on the first page) and button presses lag significantly when I play using it. Anything I can do about that? I'm running Stepmania 3.9 |

has anyone tried playing itg2 pc (by mDaWg) with an EMS USB2???
The other day my friend came over and had his adapter. so we hooked up my cobalt flux and started playing. big problem tho. the lag between hitting the pad and the hit registering was really bad that all we could get were streams of greats (and no, we don't just suck)
Any one else have this problem? any one know how to fix it? or would it just be better to use SM instead? |

i think it would be better to use SM since you can customize it to look like ITG anyway... i would get 2 trio linkers plus 2s they dont lag with fluxes http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-6m-49-en-70-1zfv.html _________________

I just got an EMS dual shooter USB converter from playasia and I am having problems with it. I couldn't find any solutions here or at the Stepmania help page....
Ok, so after I install the drivers and plug in the pad, Windows detects it and says the hardware installed correctly, but it is not showing up in the "game controllers" of Control Panel. I have the converter set to "PC" (if its set to "game", Windows can't detect it properly). I have tried it in both converter ports and also tried plugging it into different USB ports.
I am using Windows Vista Home Premium, I have tried both the beta Vista drivers and the latest XP drivers, same results either way. I have also tried 3 different brands of pad, they all "install correctly" but still none show up in game controllers.
so, I am fresh out of ideas..... can anyone offer any insight?

As far as I know, no USB adapter will work the PS3. |

I got a RadioShack adapter, and am using it with the Axis Remap program found here, and it solves all the axis problems. However, it lags. Terribly. Is there anything I can do to remedy this? Someone on Bemanistyle said that these are decent converters, but this is ridiculously laggy. We're talking a 1/10 of a second here. _________________

Any good adapters that I don't have to buy on the internet? I know about that one that SM recommends, but I don't wanna buy it online....yet. If I can't find someplace in town, I'll see if I can order online. |

I really need a good adaptor that does not lag and I can do jumps. I have already bought a dilong adaptor, and it lags and i can't even do jumps, they won't register. I have a tx1000, what would be the best adaptor for my pad? _________________

I recommend the EMS UBS2 adapter that infamous360 posted a link to. I used mine for my old, now broken BNS metal pad, which I imagine is similar to a TX-1000. |
