Yeah, I'm wanting to put my songs onto my USB to play on R21, but I need a guide or something to figure out how I can make it read it as 1:__ or something like that. Sorry if this has already been asked, but yeah I need an answer. =P

He needs a guide not the program but whatever

all you do is download that program, take your mp3/ogg/song whatever and just drag it onto the program, it'll trick the machine thinking it's 1:45 when actually its longer than that

Yes, I know I've played R21 songs before, but I just DL'd them from GrooveStats where they were already patched and everything. One question to =Z06= though. I saved the ogg lenth patch and it's now on my desktop as an icon. When I right click it and click open > run it won't load or anything - nothing happens. Am I supposed to drag the mp3 into it as an icon or what?

ogg length patch just makes the machine think its 1:45 when its actually longer. you need a converter if you wanna turn songs into ogg format.

In Edit Mode, save (you don't need to change anything) and it will create an .sm file.

In Edit Mode, save (you don't need to change anything) and it will create an .sm file.
And it will just save it into the song folder with the banner, bg, .mp3, and everything else? Or will it overwrite the .dwi?

It will save it as both .sm and .dwi in the folder with everything else.

Alright it's all done, thanks alot everyone for the help - I appreciate it. I just have one last question and then I'm done with this thread. What happens if you use the .ogg length patch on a song that's about 0:45? Does it continue without steps or music until 1:30 or what?

Oh, actually two questions - what does the time have to be before you have to use the patch?

It only fakes the timestamp it doesn't actually change the real play time of the track so it play aslong as the .ogg would be. and as for the second question I believe it has to be under 2 minutes but you can find out what it is on the In the Groove official webpage.

Are you sure you did everything mentioned in this thread? Do you have the patch and .sm files for all your songs?
