A very different song. The Beginning is a ~138bpm trance song. The steps are similar in that there is ALOT of fast turns. The Beginning also has 16 note stomps and all of the rhythms are offbeats. The ending is a long 16th run and a bunch of Jumps. The beginning is harder than PSMO.

I'd actually say the Beginning is easier. The song is longer, and there are more steps, but it's also slower, and the turns are slightly less complicated.

But they are fairly similar, yes.

PSMO doesn't have any really direct crossovers though...the beginning has a few steps that are like afronova primeval turns (RDLURULD) as well as lots of direct CSFILSM type crossovers (RDLDR etc) that PSMO just doesn't use in long sequences. most of the turning in PSMO is more gradual (DRDULRUD). The Beginning also has that wicked burning heat style step (which I hate with a passion) where you have to start sorta backwards to get it without doublestepping.

Isn't that, like, the whole end run of PSMO? o_O

No, this is different, and much harder to do.

Place your right foot on the left arrow, and your right foot on the down arrow. Now without double stepping do RDULUDR. That shows up several times.

What? I remember that part. You turn yourself to the left or right and face that way the whole time. I can FC that part. I screw up a lot more at the beginning of The Beginning.

...heheh.

The Beginning is harder then PSMO IMHO, extra thirty seconds is really tiring.

I find that run much easier than the death runs in PSMO. PSMO is too fast. frown.gif

I havne't played PSMO yet (I got into ITG before I got good enough to do it) but Now that I am probably good enough to pass it, I must say that the end run of The Beginning is extremely hard if you aren't positioned correctly. My calves are pretty big, so It's hard for me to keep turning at high speeds without getting a cramp in my legs.

Energizer is essentially a combination of Max 300, MaxX Unlimited, and The Legend of MAX.

Past, the bump of no return...no backward glances!
Our games of make believe are at an end...

Past all thought of "if" or "when" - no use resisting:
abandon thought, and let the dream descend . . .
