Just found it today, bought it and played it for the first time. It's pretty good too. Not much on difficulty but the songs are catchy. Was a sequel ever released?

i hated the US version. The songlist was small(and bad, besides stuff like the ridge racer songs and the songs from katamari) and I thought the game was too on the easy side and my drum was on the fritz(i got a used copy) so i never got to trying any of the import mixes(although if i could try them before i bought them, i so would).

if you want more taiko drum master(or in this case, taiko no tatsujin), check out the japanese mixes. They also arent too expensive for imports(usually around $40 on play-asia...nice), so i'd reccomend checking those out. Can't say which ones have the best song lists since i haven't played them, but i'd expect them to have plenty of j-pop/j-rock as well as a good number of songs from namco games(like katamari).
