First off, what kind of pad do you have? Cerain adapters won't work with certain pads. _________________

it was a tx-2000 i think
but i have rewired it
and put in a bunch of new stuff
so it's baisically a homemade pad |

Ok, I'm not really sure then. My one suggestion is not to get a Smart Joy adapter (little red box). It doesn't really work all that well with anything that draws more power than a cheap soft pad. I just ordered an EMS adapter from Lik Sang, and I'm hoping that it works with my Cobalt Flux. I'm told it's a good adapter, but I'm definitely not an authority on such things. _________________
