Well its not metal or homemade, but it still is a very nice mat. But its being very weird lately. Say I'm looking for a song to play pressing the left button, when suddenly it it starts to spinning the songs around and I can't get it to stop until I step off the mat or hit another button. Its been doing that and I have to rub my foot against the mat to make it go back to where the button belongs. Does anybody have this mat and experienced this problem? Please tell me if you do!! <> I'm sick of getting A'd and not double AA's on Beginner and Light!

1) throw dance pad in the garbage.
2) get extreme 2 bundle with konami soft pad. You wont be disapointed. Best DDR soft pad ever.

The reason it's doing that is probably because the button gets stuck... I believe theres a diagram on this forum somewhere o_o" but I'm not very experienced and I can't offer any help.

open up the pad, you'll find a piece of foam with a bunch of little holes in it. The way a soft pad works is there are 2 sheets with a bunch of sensors on them with a piece of foam with holes sandwiched between the 2. When you hit the arrow on a pad, the top sensor goes down and touches the bottom sensor, resulting it to respond.

The problem is, a lot of soft pads either have really crappy and weak sensors or have crappy foam in them. Yours probably has crappy foam that ripped or is all bunched up resulting in it responding a lot.
