Does anyone know where to get the long version for 'Waka Laka'? I looked up 'Jenny Rom' on Wiki and it said that she was an Italian superstar, and that Waka Laka was her greatest hit. So I know that to be a greatest hit, it needs to be longer than 1:45. Help please! |

iTunes doesn't have music from EVERY record label in the world.
iTunes JAPAN might. |

You can import Dancemania Speed 8 from Japan, which includes Waka Laka. It says, "Waka Laka (E=MC2 mix)", but it's still the same version as used in DDR. _________________

Are Dancemania songs really not full versions and instead just shortened at good DDR length? I think not. The shortened version of the song is on the DDRMAX2 soundtrack, but I'm pretty possitive the full, unshortened version exists on Dancemania Speed 8. _________________

The E=MC^2 mix should be the long version (although it sounds a lot better, like a real song). _________________

Truth be told, the Dancemania Speed version of Waka Laka isn't much longer. The DDR version that I have on Stepmania clocks in at exactly 1:30. The Dancemania version is 2:01, and isn't all that much different from the DDR version. There's a breakdown near the end, and you'll hear fragments of Living in America at the beginning and That's the Way (KCP Remix) at the end because it's a megamix.
You might be able to get a full version of the song from Jenny ROM's label, SAIFAM, though. SAIFAM's Music Store has two versions of the song, the E=MC2 Mix seen in DDR, as well as a slower Bubble Mix. Search for Waka Laka on there, and there's a preview clip there that sounds like it may have come from a longer version of the song. You'll have to pay 0.99 Euros ($1.26 US) for it, though. |

It's a pretty hard song. Only an 8, but still hard. _________________
