| I have played two different US beatmania discs, mine and my friends. On mine, the syncing is PERFECT. On my friends, the syncing is off by 0.2 to 0.7 seconds depending on the song. I think it has something to do with the disc because some are fine and others aren't. |

I swear, I saw it for $40 at some target stores after july 10th, probably tuesday.
Though not every target around my area had it for $40
Edit: Never mind, the sale is off. It's $60 again at the same target...

If you're playing on two different TVs, that's probably the reason.
If not, you're probably playing 5 Key; 5 Key timing is ALL OVER THE PLACE |

It never gave me any trouble. In fact, I still feel that the US controller is more well-made than the JP one.

bump to give a little hint where to find it cheap. I got mine today at Fry's Electronics for $44.95. It wasn't advertised, though. Check your Fry's if you have one in your area, see if it is reduced.

Trying to play with the us controller always screws up my timing and it takes a bit to get used to it. Then when I switch back to the jp controller I have to get re-adjusted to the timing using it. I still prefer the jp controller over the us one. The us one slides all over the place on me, its way too light(weight-wise).

Me too.....But to be honest, I don't think they'll bring another one here. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Beatmania & hope to get my PS2 modded to import them someday when I have the money, but w/ people complaining how tough it is (I WANT TOUGH!!) & hearing about poor sales, I just don't know. Although I'd love a sequal. |
