Hi,

My name is Landon like I said in the topic. I've been playing DDR for 7 years now. What really got me into DDR I would have to say is my love for music games. As hard as it is to believe, DDR was not the first music game I was hooked on. My gateway into the music genre started with the Bust A Groove series. Now well...DDR has became my fav. game series of all time.

Why did I say I'm probably the oddest DDR player? Well...because I love the DDR characters and they are just as important to me as the songs. DUN DUN DUN! Yeah probably freaky to some folks. Especially since some people hate them. The reason I probably love them is because since I started the music genre gig with a character dancer like Bust A Groove and the early mixes of DDR, I grown to love them. I know all their names by heart...even the weird ones like Cow-ko. Also whats weird is that i'm like the opposite of most people...I play worse without characters than I do with them. The more characters on screen...the more times I make AAAs on Heavy. So I'm very glad that Konami is really bringing back the characters after their disappearance in Max1,2, and Extreme(AC).

Views on the new Super Nova...Well the songlist with over 300 songs is quite amazing. Also the characters are back in the arcades which is a very good plus for me and they replaced quanity with quality. Now they have new animations which is about time(I've used the characters with the old animations so much that I can dance just like them in real life. Yep another weird thing about me! I do it at parties!) I havent had a chance to play the arcade version yet but I sure cant wait! Also the console version should be good as well..I mean, I'm pretty sure it wont have over 300 songs but hey its a new DDR...so thats enough to make me happy.
